Customer Care Agent - San Pedro (SPR)
Tropic Air is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of a Customer Care Agent at Tropic’s Customer Care Department in San Pedro.
Reports To: Director of Sales & Customer Engagement
Position Overview: To Provide unparallel customer service experience when assisting customers with reservation requests, inquiries about Tropic Air’s services and basic customer service queries. This position is critical for service delivery, customer satisfaction and retention.
DUTIES:
- Answer all incoming calls and assist customers with flight reservations, tour packages, service requirements, and questions about frequent flyer program.
- Provide support to customers who may need to cancel a reservation.
- Answer & transfer calls to other departments in the company.
- Resolve customer issues by clarifying customer complaints; determining the cause of the problem; offering a possible solution to the issue; ensure correction is executed; and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Maintain customer contact database by inputting correct customer name, telephone number and e-mail address.
- Actively listen to customers’ need and identify opportunities to increase customer experience & customer satisfaction.
- Up-sell, when appropriate, by providing information to customers regarding products and services offered by Tropic Air.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other departments.
- Be knowledgeable of all products and services offered by Tropic Air
- Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively.
- Other duties assigned from time to time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
- High School Diploma
- Must have at least one (1) years of recent and successful employment experience in customer service.
Preferred:
- Associates Degree
- 1+ year of recent and successful employment experience in customer service.

Marketing Associate - San Pedro (SPR)
Tropic Air is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of a Marketing Associate at Tropic’s Marketing Department in San Pedro Town.
Reports To: Branding & Marketing Superivsor
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Associate will assist the Branding & Marketing Supervisor in executing Tropic Air’s digital marketing strategy. This role requires above- average graphic design skills, strong videography abilities using an iPhone, and advanced editing skills. The Marketing Associate will be responsible for creating and curating content for Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive customer conversions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Develop 7 original pieces of Meta content weekly (Reels, Carousels, Daily Stories)
- Film and edit one long-form YouTube video per week (can be a longer version of an original piece of Meta content)
- Post 3 TikTok videos per week (repurposed from Meta content)
- Follow posting guidelines provided by the Marketing & Brand Specialist
- Maintain an efficient content approval workflow
- Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement across social platforms
Graphic Design & Editing
- Create high-quality social media graphics in line with brand aesthetics
- Edit all videos in CapCut, ensuring they meet brand guidelines
- Deliver edited videos in a Canva Presentation for approval prior to posting
Analytics & Reporting
- Track weekly engagement, reach, and follower growth metrics
- Present weekly analytics reports every Thursday alongside new content drafts
- Identify trends and make recommendations for content improvement
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and social media
- Preferred:
- Associates Degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing and social media

Web & System Administrator - IT Department - San Pedro, Belize (SPR)
Tropic Air is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of a Web & System Administrator at Tropic’s IT Department in San Pedro Town, Belize.
Reports To: IT Manager
Pay Grade; Level: *40-hour workweek; hourly rate subject to skill level and experience.
Primary Function: The Web & System Administrator is responsible for maintaining and optimizing Tropic Air’s IT infrastructure. The role holder will ensure the efficient and secure operation of computer systems, networks, and servers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop system access, monitoring, control, and recovery policies
- Test disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; and maintaining documentation
- Monitoring web systems performance
- Maintaining web environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades and monitoring system performance
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and upgrades
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality
- Manage and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Collaborate with senior administrators to optimize network performance and reliability
- Collaborate with the IT helpdesk to resolve user issues in a timely manner
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Perform routine data backups and ensure data integrity
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and testing
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Prepare reports on system performance and incident resolutions
- Implement and enforce security policies and protocols
- Monitor system logs for security breaches and unauthorized access
- Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience working with computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience administrating Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience managing and implementing virtualization technologies (e.g, VMware, Hyper-V)
- Working knowledge of website operations and their underlying technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Eager to learn and adapt to innovative technologies
- Thorough understanding of the threat and attack landscape, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and how they are leveraged by malicious actors
- Any relevant certifications (e.g, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Associate) is a plus.
