Tropic Air's Commitment to Your Furry Companions
Tropic Air is committed to providing our values of Safety, Service, & Sustainability to all of our passengers, including our furry friends. Fortunately, flying with your pet on Tropic Air is possible provided specific requirements are met. Tropic Air permits domesticated pets (cats or dogs) to travel in the cabin on all domestic flights only within a pet carrier.
Charges
A standard fee of BZ$10.00 (Domestic Stations) and USD$10.00 (International Stations) will be charged upon check-in for any pet or service dog.
Pet Carrier Requirements
- Must be provided by the passenger.
- Must be rigid (hard-sided) or flexible (soft-sided).
- Must have a leak proof bottom.

For the safety and comfort of your pet during flight, all pets must be transported un an airline-approved pet carrier that does not exceed the following maximum dimensions:

- Height: 31 inches
These measurements reflect the largest carrier that can securely fit on the back seat of our aircraft. To ensure a safe journey, all carriers will be properly strapped in to prevent movement during the flight.
Check-In Requirements
- Passenger and pet must check in together to determine if the pet carrier will fit on the passenger’s lap or if an additional seat will be needed and charged for the pet.
- Passengers may be charged as much as three full-fare seats on any given leg of a domestic flight depending on the size of the pet carrier.
Certified Service Animals
Fully trained service animals may travel in the cabin outside of a pet carrier provided specific requirements are met.
